This a funky old brown folding chair I painted.  It lived outside in the summer and was usually the last chair picked to sit on when we had guests.  Some because it was funky but mostly because it was hot from being in the sun.  That's when I decided to paint it and turn it into the "hot seat" in my studio.  It's a great place for me to sit when I need some quiet; and that is a lot of the time.  I need a daily reminder to Sit down and be Quiet!
