Greeting cards

I had these cards made in the early 90's as part of my get-the-heck-out-of-California plan.  Some people seemed to like my drawings and paintings.  A friend suggested I make cards out of them, that she had met a woman on a recent trip to New Mexico who was supporting herself selling her greeting cards.  "Oh yeah," I thought, "Well,  watch out, Hallmark."  I printed cards and moved back to Kansas.

I believed I'd have a little home business, selling cards around the land.  It didn't take long to realize that most people prefer sweet and safe cards; the kind you can send to

your mother.  Mine tend to fall in the dark and edgy category; not so great to send to

your mother.  So I still have a few (!) of them left to sell.
