I painted these floor cloths in 2004. My sister was in a bad car wreck in Kansas. I'd go and help out for a week. When I was at her house I was knee-deep in what was unfolding there. Then I'd come home for a couple of weeks and hit a wall. I restored myself with painting.
The floor cloths were perfect: the right size, the right weight and the right place to go in a time of need. Plus you can use them. I like that. Just slap it down on the floor and walk all over it.
They are 24" x 34". After I finished painting them I polyurethaned them on both sides; six coats over the image on front and four coats over the inspirational quote on the back. Instructions for care of the floor mat are on the back. I've had one on my kitchen floor for several years and it is curing nicely in its own funky way.
The ones you see below are what I have left from my floor cloth painting days.
